Trick-or-Treatin’ at Trinoma

Last Thursday, October 30th, the kids and I trooped to Trinoma for Wicked, Trinoma’s halloween event this year. We met up with Cookie and Julie, who also brought along their kids.

The kids were pretty excited, so we all woke up early. We got to the mall just before the 10am opening. I was just too ecstatic that my parking was only a few slots away from the mall entrance. “Woohoo! We’re so early, I’m sure there aren’t crowds yet!”

As we turned the bend towards the Mall Concierge where trick-or-treaters are supposed to register, we got a good view of the mob! The lines – 2 lines to serve three thousand expected participants – were so looooong already! Oh well…

The loooong registration lines. Shot from the second floor.

We fell in line just the same. It so happened, by wonderful coincidence, that Julie and kids were at the end of the line. A few minutes later, Cookie and her girls, dressed up as Gagambita and Valentina, arrived.

Nate as himself :P, Patch as the pumpkin witch, Gaby as Gagambita, Tania as herself (angel!), VGood as a fairy, Trixie as herself too, Adi as Valentina, and Julian as The Lone Ranger.

Another good thing happened – Cookie’s friend, who must have seen us far, far down the line, took pity and got us several “authorized” Trinoma loot bags when she registered. Yehey! Effectively, she registered for us. We were all too grateful and happy to fall out of the line and start trick-or-treating!

Nate slept through the trick-or-treat! Mall noise is ambient noise for him. hehe

Though the treats were scarce (some shops weren’t ready with treats, the others ran out too soon), my kids had fun! It’s the company that always matters.

Moms, let’s do this more often. Next up – Christmas party! 🙂

  1. The kids look great in their costumes. That was such a long queue. Good thing Cookie’s friend saved the day.

I heard from the others that the treats were scarce but glad that didn’t dampen the fun and happy atmosphere that day.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. We also enjoyed the activity at Trinoma. Sa sobrang excited ng mga kids ko, di ko na kayo na-text. Di bale we had fun in your place naman. Mas marami pang candies sa inyo kesa sa mall, he he.
