Celebrations Wine Club presents world famous wines in its wine clubs

Wine Clubs Explore Balance

The California and Italian Wine Club explores the balance between fruit, alcohol, and acid in its wine of the month club selections. While these components naturally overlap and influence each other, they are generally considered separately by wine enthusiast to distinguish what they like from what they dislike. The wine of the month club assists enthusiasts with selections that explore balance through monthly wine club selections.

California Wine Of The Month Club

For the California series, the wine clubs visit small, family-owned wineries in the lush valleys of California where winemakers handcraft a wide range of wines that include classical Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay as well as newer enthusiasms like Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Syrah. These fruity, spicy, aromatic wines are some of the finest in the world.

Italian Wine Clubs Provide A Taste Of Italy

From the sunny hillside towns of Italy, Celebrations Wine Club brings delicious wines from family-owned wineries that embody the history and culture of the fertile Italian peninsula. Wine enthusiasts will taste Barolo, Barbaresco, and Dolcetto from Piemonte, Sagrantino from Umbria, and Brunello, Chianti, and Vino Nobile from Toscana along with wines from all the other regions of Italy.

Packages from various wine clubs can contain either Californian or Italian wines, but for the intrepid connoisseur, the wines from both regions can be incorporated into one wine club package. Visit California one month and Italy the next, or visit both regions in the same month. The choice is yours.

Beat the Summer Heat with Halo-halo

This week’s question from Julie:

What is your favorite ice cream flavor or ice cream concoction?

Being the true-blue Pinoy that I am, my answer would be halo-halo!

Iceberg halo-halo

It doesn’t matter if it’s halo-halo from Chowking or Razon’s or the neighborhood stand.

The one shown above is from Iceberg (costs around Php90+, and huge enough for sharing).

For the love of coffee

I just recently came from Baguio for a short less-than-3-days summer’s-end hurrah. (More on that in a later post.)

My mom (who is always ever into network marketing!) gave me a box of instant coffee that’s supposed to be healthy. It contains the ganoderma mushroom, which has a wide array of benefits, as mom said to convince me. Dubbed as the Miraculous King of Herbs by ancient Chinese medicine, the benefits of ganoderma mushroom vary from longevity to skin whitening. (There is even a gano-toothpaste. I got one tube. hehe)

I don’t really fall easily for all that talk. But hey, the coffee does give me the kick-start I need every morning. And it tastes good too (a bit more bitter than regular instant coffee). So, until I get one of those espresso machines, I will probably be buying my coffee from mom. 😛
