Saturday’s Photo Scavenger Hunt: Window(s)

My first entry to the Photo Hunt!

~A Boat’s Window(s)~

This was taken in 2004 during a business trip to Shanghai. My colleagues and I were taken to Suzhou (‘Soo-chow’), a quaint town outside Shanghai. Suzhou is famous for its gardens, silk and, like Venice, its canals and waterways. Boat rides like this are an enjoyable way of resting from all the garden-hopping and silk-shopping.

  3. Welcome to the photo hunt! That’s a great first entry. I didn’t realize it was a boat at first.

  4. Hi Chateau! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like this picture, esp. the girl waving, she looks so happy! I would love to take a trip to China, who knows, maybe one day…but I think I would be kind of afraid of the language barrier.
    Happy Saturday!
