Krispy Kreme’s Grand Chocolate Karnival

It’s only been a few weeks into summer vacation, and my kids are starting to say “booooring!”

So on Saturday, March 28th, my two daughters and I were southbound towards Bonifacio High Street, Fort Bonifacio. It was Krispy Kreme‘s launch of the chocolate-glazed line of doughnuts. I showed my kids the invitation and they went “oooooh”. And if you’ve seen this billboard along EDSA, I’m sure you drooled on the road –Β

We arrived at Boni High Street a little past 11 AM, and we were greeted by a festive mood – a Karnival!

There was juggling, stilt-walking, and awesome balloon twisting. See her balloon jester-hat? Kewlness! She made the kids these chocolatey balloon hats. Of course, none of the hats made it home. hehe

What I love about these events is the chance to catch up with friends. I enjoyed the company of my mommy-blogger friends Feng, Julie, Noemi, Cookie, Lynn and Jane. Our kids had fun playing games in exchange for doughnuts πŸ˜€ and simply hanging out with each other.

I wasn’t able to take photos of the actual “unveiling” of Krispy Kreme’s newest baby – the chocolate-glazed doughnuts – because the crowd was so thick inside the store. I got to take these home, though. They are truly melt-in-your-mouth chocolate goodness. Perfect with coffee!

Thank you, Krispy Kreme and GeiserMaclang, for organizing such a fun event, and for saving us from another boooooring weekend. πŸ˜€

Till the next one with our kids!

  3. Hi Lynn!

No problem with the pics… I hope our daughters get to spend more time with each other this summer.

Congrats sa dot com mo. WP is easier than you think. It just takes a little bit of getting used to. Pero madali lang talaga, pramis!
