Happy Holidays!

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas! I wish my family, friends, and all readers of this blog a happy Christmas. May all beautiful blessings be upon you.

I take this opportunity to thank all who have been reading this blog. Thank you for the support through the years. I hope to keep getting better with what I do so that you will have reason to keep coming back too.

Tonight, it’s my family’s first just-us celebration. At first there was a lot of resistance from the kids, since they’ve gotten used to celebrating it with my side of the family in Baguio every year. Up to the last minute this afternoon, V suddenly blurted out “But you’re still gonna go to Baguio to get our gifts??” 😀 Somehow she was hoping there’d be some last-minute change of plans. hehehe…

Anyway, I still hope my kids feel happy and special despite the changes. It’s an hour to Noche Buena and I’ve just finished roasting the pork loin (yup, no botched-up ham this year, hehe). The lasagna, which I cooked earlier, is waiting to be reheated. Ate Josie is frying some chicken for back-up – just in case the pork loin is botched up too (goshhhh, please nooooo!).

Christmas songs are playing on my computer. The kids are getting dressed up. I have to cook the roast glaze, and haven’t taken a bath yet… hehehe

So, bye bye! See you all next year! 😀

A family Christmas getaway at Disney World in Orlando (orlando!), Florida is a dream vacation for me. 🙂

  1. It’s nice to have a “just us” celebration but I guess there’s also something so magical about celebrating it with the whole clan and in Baguio, too!

Am in Manila myself (we’re opposites, my “just us” would be Baguio while big clan is here) enjoying family, so full I cannot sleep so now I am “visiting” all my blogger friends.

Merry Christmas to you and your entire family!!!
