Friday’s Feast # 120

Have you ever flown in a helicopter?
-Not yet, but I hope in this lifetime I will be able to!

What color is your warmest coat or jacket?

-Hmmm… Since I moved to Manila (where the weather is very warm), I have not kept any winter jacket. But If I do buy one in case I’ll be going somewhere very cold in the near future, it’d be in black (for it’s visual slimming effect! :P)

What is your favorite rainy day activity?
-Dancing in the rain with my kids! Or, when I’m too lazy for that, blogging!

Main Course
Describe your hands.
-Hmmm… I never took time to scrutinize my hands recently until now that you asked! Okay, let’s see… My hands aren’t as soft and smooth as they used to be 10 years ago, although my palms are still pink. I can see some fine wrinkles starting to form on the skin at the back of my palm (in medical terms, dorsal side). I’ve very tiny and brittle nails that I got from my mother’s side of the family. For this reason I don’t grow my nails long. Ever since I had kids, my fingers weren’t spared from getting fat. As proof, I’ve grown 1 ring-size up! 😀

If you could eat only one nut for the rest of your life, what nut would you pick?
-Definitely, it’s sunflower seeds; specifically, the Chacheer brand that my sister buys from Taiwan! It has become a dear favorite within the family. Cracking and munching these seeds have become a family affair. The best part, of course, is the talk that comes with the cracking! We even have our own term for these nut-cracking sessions. So if I were to eat these nuts for the rest of my life, I would gladly do so!

  3. Ahhhhhh see… I did NOT choose sunflower seeds because I reasoned it was a SEED and therefore NOT a nut… which allowed me to KEEP them – as well as my other choice!!! LOL!

Wystful/gattina, manila was not very affected by the typhoon, but the southern part of our island was. Please pray for those who lost loved ones. Thanks very much for the concern. 🙂
