Counting My Blessings

Today I have many reasons to be happy and thankful:

1. Project: FitMoM is going well. Today’s weigh-in is astounding and I’m extremely pleased. 😀 I also finally discovered the perfect gym class. (wheeee!) I will post more details later. I’m so sleepy and tired, but too happy to not write this post. 😀

2. I received an early and thoughtful wedding anniversary greeting card from my sister Ravioli. (Thank you, ateng!) She sent me the ABCs of marriage. Hub and I went down the list together and here are some of our favorite letters:

A – Absolutely adore each other. (He’s definitely there… hehe)

B – Be best friends. (Check!)

C – Compromise. (Check! He goes to the market; I cook.)

H – Hold hands and hug a lot. (Check! It surprises me how some couples are surprised when they see us holding hands.)

I – Inspire and intrigue each other. (The mystery must never die!)

J – Joke, laugh, and have fun. (Must remind hub.)

O – Overcome problems together. (Check! Check! Check!)

Q – Quiet each other’s fears.

R – Remember the little things.

Z – Zzzzzzzzz in each other’s arms. (But for now we zzzzzz in the kids’. LOL)

3. I am thankful for friends I found through the internet, who are not just virtual friends anymore but real-life ones. I had lunch with such a friend whom I met on an online forum (Pinoy Exchange). We enjoyed chatting about our children and families, and sharing our thoughts as though we have always known each other.

As if this was not enough, I opened my PC when I got home, of course excitedly checked my blog for new comments. And… a wonderful Rockin’ Girl Blogger Award from Rach greeted me. Thank you, Rachel, for the honor. I look forward to the day when we shall sit together again for lunch and be shopping buddies. 😀 Mommy Bloggers indeed rock!

4. My family is going on a much-needed weekend getaway on Saturday. We will celebrate three events – our wedding anniversary, VGood’s 6th birthday (June 29), and Magnate’s first (July 6). (O di ba, ang tipid?? hehe). We are all excitedly looking forward to this special time for just us.
