Our home switched internet providers from Globe to PLDT Fibr a few months back. We decided to subscribe to the Lite 1899 base plan, with a monthly volume allowance of 80 GB. From there, we would see if we needed to upgrade to a higher plan. So first I had to figure out how to track volume usage.
If you are also trying to figure this out, let me help you out with this step by step guide on how to track volume usage through the PLDT website.
(I am using here my laptop. So these steps apply to laptop or desktop access. Mobile access might be slightly different.)
1. Go to PLDT Home website at pldthome.com. Click on “myHome Account” on the upper right hand corner of the page, as shown below.
Oh, lookit! Ms. Universe Pia Wurtzbach is on the home page of PLDT. 😀
Last week, I got invited by Samsung Philippines to a small gathering of mommy bloggers where we were introduced to the latest fully automatic Samsung washing machines.
My current washing machine is approaching it’s 10th birthday, and according to the Samsung brand manager, the average Filipino household buys a new washing machine once every 10 to 11 years. I agree, because the one I have now is showing signs of retirement soon. So if you’re like me who is in the market for a new washing machine, read up! I got an email recently from K5 Learning, a Canada-based online learning site. K5 Learning online tutorials has reading and math programs for kindergarten to grade 5 students. They offered me (well, my son) a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their Online Math and Science Tutorials program. I found it a good opportunity for Nate, since it’s summer vacation and the extra learning will definitely go a long way when he goes back to school in June.
If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.
I will be back after 6 weeks with my review of the online math and science tutorials program.
Here’s something new that I’ve been doing since school started two weeks ago – menu planning! Yup, in my almost 16 years of motherly existence, this is the first time that I’m actually planning meals seriously.
The kids, being older and wiser, just won’t settle for alternating fried egg and tocino breakfasts now. Adobo lunch boxes don’t excite them anymore either. To make sure the menu doesn’t get tiring, we thought of planning the meals.
Menu planning actually isn’t as intimidating as it appears. Here’s how we do it.
A few weeks ago, Potentilla Home Fragrance sent me a wonderful package. Unfortunately, it was also around the time that dengue fever hit me. Thankfully, I’m well and fully recovered now.

Hi everyone! Again, this blog has been neglected for quite a while. But I’m back… again! And with a surprise for everyone too. 🙂 (So read to the end!)
Yesterday, I finally opened the package from Potentilla, and fell in love. The packaging is so pretty!
