Wine Depot Online sale: Villa Maria Lighter Sauvignon Blanc

Hey! The weekend is coming up, and what better way to wind down after a week of hard work than to gather your girl friends and celebrate with a bottle (or two) of wine! I am not much of a beer drinker, but open a great bottle of wine, and I’m there. 🙂 Incidentally, Wine Depot Online is having a weekend sale on a lighter variant of sauvignon blanc from Villa Maria, New Zealand’s most awarded winery.

Tien Ma’s Taiwanese Cuisine | Best xiao long bao in Manila

I am obviously a big fan of Chinese food, as you can see from my many blog posts about it. Taiwanese food is my favorite of favorites. 😀 A simple porkchop pientong brings me sooo much joy.

I discovered Tien Ma’s Taiwanese Cuisine one morning a few weeks ago after having my blood work done.

I had not eaten breakfast yet, as the blood work required me to fast overnight. Driving around the Banawe area, I was on the look out for a nice breakfast place that I haven’t tried. Tien Ma’s on Retiro didn’t seem so busy yet, and there was a slot for my car right on the doorstep so, game – Tien Ma’s.

Jump Yard Trampoline Park at Frontera Verde now open

There’s a new indoor attraction in Metro Manila that’s becoming a hit among kids and “feeling kids” – the Jump Yard Trampoline Park!

All Day Cafe | Banawe Food Crawl

My family loves going all the way to Banawe Street to get our Chinese food fix. Lately, the Banawe area is becoming more diverse, with more restaurants offering fare other than Chinese. All Day Cafe is, as the name says it, an all-day breakfast cafe located on D. Tuazon Street near Banawe.

Our group of volleyball moms met up for brunch at All Day Cafe last December.

Aside from having daughters who play volleyball, our common denominator is: love for food! 😀

Novotel breakfast buffet | Food Exchange

My family recently stayed overnight at the new Novotel Manila at the Araneta Center in Quezon City. One of the things that excites me when staying at hotels is the breakfast buffet. So I will write first about the Novotel breakfast buffet that we had, instead of the hotel stay. Teehee. 😀

The Food Exchange, located at the ground floor, is the main restaurant of Novotel Manila. I like the bright, clean and modern vibe, as well as the beautiful murals on the walls.

This hall, all the way to the end, is where the food stations are located. On the left side of the hall are the dining tables.
