Here are some websites that I have found very useful:
The Lose Weight Diet (…so damn literal). When I read this site, I realized that weight loss really shouldn’t be fancy and all that. All it takes is common sense… and well, a bit of commitment too.
South Beach Diet Online. I did not sign up for paid membership. The recipes and tips were enough to give me a general idea on how I should go about the Diet myself.
FitDay. Early on in my fitness project, I used this free online diet and weight loss journal. It helped me monitor calories eaten, calories burned, physical activities, and goals. There is even nutritional info on Pakbet!
Women’s Health. Lots of articles on fitness, weight loss, health, nutrition, and beauty. I love the step-by-step illustrated workout regimens.
ExRx.net (Exercise Prescription on the Net). Some articles can get too technical and medical, but the website is an extensive resource for all things related to fitness. There are articles on nutrition, weight management, and even fitness calculators. If you plan on taking up a walking program, they have a sample regimen on that too.
